It's that time again...

Christmas shopping...!

I have about two or three more gifts that I want to get for people but here I am sitting on the couch vowing to not move for the entire day so I guess today is not the day. Today my major task was to make eggs sunny side up. Only took two attempts to get them looking somewhat presentable! (Should have taken a picture, darn!)

Alright, alright, I agree the blog was a great thing so I'm going to go at it again. Having a bit of internet personality disorder on this end. But I missed it and I am currently home and have no where really to write but here.

What I really want to write is a travel blog, but I would need to be travelling first. I guess university can still be an adventure....for now.

The End

Hello All,

I regret to inform that this will be my last post on this blog. I am transferring all my time and skills over to my Tumblr blog. It's easier for me to use and post different kinds of media. (Plus a check it very often) If you don't already know there is a link to it on this blog.

Thanks for following and commenting on my posts!

A Little Extra for the Day

I came across this other blog thanks to my cousin, Maggie Brockmann! I've actually been obsessing over it for the past few days and have come to the conclusion that the following will take up many hours of my upcoming weekend(s):

Day 7

Day 7- A picture of your most treasured item.

My Journal.
Been writing in this for a number of years now.
Always turn to it in times of, well whatever times!
She's a pretty good looking journal too, if I don't say so myself.

Day 6

Day 6- A picture of a person you would love to trade places with for a day

Michaƫlle Jean
I'm not exactly sure why, but she is the first person that came to mind.
And that's about as in depth as I'm going to go into it.

My Two Cents on the World Today:
Someone should create a reality series on city bus drivers. They hear and see the most craziest things, have awful shifts and drama most definitely. I think it would be hilarious! You'd get to see those amazing, super helpful ones and those nasty, rude ones that make up their own rules for their "own" bus. It could be done "The Office" style. Have some random interviews in the middle of the show with the drivers and the riders. And what it feels like to drive by people waiting for the bus in the snow when the bus is full....

p.s. That last part will be my life for the next few months

Day 5

Day 5- A picture of your favourite memory.

My Sisters (cousins) Maddie and Ellie and I.
I miss being your big sister, spending summers together, getting Bratz dolls and playing soccer and baseball in the backyard.
Love you.

Computer Crash

So I guess if any of you are actually following along you would have realized that this 30 Day Challenge is indeed a challenge. My computer is now on its last days and will have to be replaced as soon as possible (MAC BOOK PRO, too excited!). So hold your horses, and I hope to be back in as little time as possible!

30 Day Challenge- Day 1

I found this interesting "challenge" on Facebook the past few days but I figured I could do it on here and get some more posts in! I guess that will be the challenge part of it, posting consistently. It is a 30 day challenge with different requirements everyday, I guess you'll just have to keep checking back to see what they all are!

Day 1- A Picture of Yourself with 10 Facts

1. I love school, learning and being a study bug.
2. I'm never a lazy dresser, always dressed to the nines.
3. I have a genetic chromosomal abnormality, it's called red hair.
4. I don't really enjoy the outdoors.
5. My new breakfast staple is a cheddar and garlic bagel with herb and garlic cream cheese and a banana (on the side).
6. I don't like using a purse.
7. I can admit that yes I am a woman and I am not the best driver.
8. I am obsessed with planning things out: my day, my courses, my life, etc.
9. I am a chronic procrastinator but I have found nothing wrong with that as of yet.
10. I rarely wear hats.

There is No "Autumn" in University

I found an interesting view on university life somewhere on the internet. It said that there is no season of "Autumn" in university. There are three different seasons that together make up the period of this so called "Autumn": midterms, term papers, and studying. Then there is Winter...final essays, finals and major studying.

I've moved on to the papers portion of Autumn. I currently have at least three papers on the works and a few labs. Craziness. I spend a lot of time at the library now, well more than usual. But what saddens me is finals. How the heck am I going to walk home at midnight in winter?! It's going to be freezing cold. Brrr, depressing just to think about.

School is going great though, most of my midterms went very well! One in stats, I was a little pissy about and had no problem telling the prof, so I guess we will see how that one goes. Haven't gotten back the mark yet. Everything seems to be coming together though, life is awesome and can't help being happy!

Just as I went to bed so happily last night I woke up and found my class at the end of my first class looking in my bag to see that I had forgotten my small assignment for the second class. FREAKOUT MODE! Thank goodness I had my laptop with me. I needed to buy a print card from this machine so I could use the library printers. It only accepts actual loonies to pay for the card so then I had to get change for quarters and dimes. After that I had to put more money on to the card so I had credit, the only thing I had was $10 so there went my lunch money. THEN I had to connect to the internet (10 minutes on this stupid PC!), recover my assignment because I didn't save it and then send it to myself. Go on a library computer, open the attachment and print it. Then go to one of the printing computers, insert my print card, AND then print and run to class. But everything is good! Just like it always is.

Altruism

I am currently sitting in class, a pretty useless class. We are discussing if altruism is an adaptive behavior or an instinctive behavior. But I'm sitting here thinking to myself, there is no way you can ever really know unless you take a newborn baby and isolate it from the entire world. Because no matter who you are raised by nice people, murders, drug addicts, wolves, you are going to receive an outlook of experience and learn from that. You will learn through observations or direct verbal telling of how to conduct yourself. So are humans really as great as we think they are? Probably not. Maybe yes and maybe no.

Even in university classes you can't really get notes from someone else unless you provide them with something useful, like giving other notes or midterms or something else useful in the course. (I missed a class yesterday and it's a struggle to get notes).

That's my university academic rant of the day.

Laptop Wars

The computer I am currently using shouldn't be considered a modern day laptop. Okay that's a lie, it's not THAT bad but I mean there are multiple parts cracking, keyboard is missing keys and the battery life is about...2 minutes. So what is really the point of this particular post?

PC OR MAC.

I already know what I'm leaning towards and I don't even think asking for other people's thoughts will change that opinion but here goes it. Out of all my friends here at higher education institutions, those with PCs have problems out the wazoo and the Mac people...content as can be. I know it's expensive and a "culture" but I mean it's just a computer, a computer that works and will last through my full day of classes! (PLUS this means I could potentially even BLOG more!...potentially).

Don't you just love it when rainy days make you happy? I wear my brand new rain boots with my gorgeous purple coat and my large umbrella and nothing can stop me! It's strange how material things can affect your mood so much, but sadly it's true. I mean sure, I could be happy without my amazing things but could I really enjoy the rain with soaking wet, soggy, grandma-like feet, acid rain in my hair or not wearing such a gorgeous purple coat? Definitely not.

Sun and Clouds

Couldn't think of a title for this moment so I looked outside my window and that is what we got :)

I planned my entire undergrad life last night, down to the exact semester until graduation. Why? 1. Because I'm a little crazy organized like that and 2. Need to figure out my life in order to go to Europe.

Oh but wait, today I got to check what time classes are next semester and BOOM two very important classes at the exact freaking time! My whole night's worth of work just forgotten (not really, we can fix this...I hope). My other options? Hope they open more classes with different times or take a class with weird first years in my last semester of my Bachelor's degree (GROSS!) haha just kidding.

There is a link on my blog to my Tumblr, please check it out! I don't post too often on it but today I did and it's really worth looking into.

Sorry Mom and Dad but...

....I'm planning my semester abroad. Just started the entire process today (even though I've been researching schools for months now). The plan would be to go not this January but the next, January 2012. Good news about the exchange program I want to do?! I am still a Guelph student and pay Guelph fees which then would make sense for me to still be receiving OSAP! YES!

My favourite spot right now is somewhere in the UK. I've really been looking at Keele University and just received a Keele Book today from the International Programs Office, it's my new favourite love. It's just pretty much perfect, neuroscience and everything!

What does this mean even further? I may take summer school again, but is that a bad thing? Heck no! Whenever in my life have I ever hated school...never. I just can't get enough of it! (I'm well aware I may change my mind after I'm done my undergrad). And has I'm eavesdropping right now at my work (which is right beside International Programs) there is a Study Abroad "fun cool day" on October 15th. How exciting?!

See you later England. (Or Scotland)

Take That Zehr's

So I've been having very good mornings at university this year, but different than last. I used to have a huge habit of sleeping in until about 15 minutes before class and hurrying down to class, forgetting a bunch of needed things, like pens, pencils, lecture notes maybe even a laptop. But this year, I wake up with hours to spare. Having time for meaningless things like breakfast! And even checking the weather, perhaps washing a dish or two.

Changed my bed sheets today and did some laundry. And by some laundry I mean three loads, is that a lot for one person? Sure feels like a lot. School is still going well but I've been sick lately. Just a really bad cough and just sick feeling.

My milk went mysteriously bad tonight...It was perfectly fine this morning when I had cereal and my roommate's milk is fine. The expiry date is September 29th so I was a little flustered, more because I had consumed some and have had bad experiences in the past with bad milk. So I'm sitting in the living room complaining about my milk situation and my roommate, Alyson said I should call and complain. But I'm definitely not the complaining time, and I hate talking to anyone having to do with customer service. When I was younger I even hating calling for pizza delivery (don't ask). But I suck it up, thought like my mother and called the store. I explained the situation and they told me to bring in the receipt or the carton of milk and they will replace it. FREE MILK! You cannot believe how amazing this is in the life of a student, it's pretty much the highlight of my day, perhaps my week!

My only dilemma? How am I going to get that carton of disgusting milk to the grocery store?

TV Time

I'm doing laundry right now, ohhhh my goodness! This is real life now! Classes are already busy and I have so many quizzes, assignments, projects, etc that after the third day of class I already don't know where to start. I also managed to buy the wrong textbook from a friend today so I'm a little perturbed about that.

Chemistry, which I thought was some how going to be not so awful, is of course already awful. It's not so bad, just very quick paced. Italian has left my life officially today and I handed my textbook, tests and midterms to a new Italian lover by the name of Alice. I hope they bring her everything she hopes for in her relationship with Italian as it did for me.

I managed to get a job interview within the University. I'm very excited for it and am actually anticipating it! I hope it goes well and I know everything I can possibly know.

I took the bus this past weekend to the bank, overall the bus sucks. Takes way too long, requires way too much waiting and not enough exercise. But as I do have an interview tomorrow I may after all need to transport by bus in my interview wardrobe. I don't know what you call a win-lose situation but that is one.

ROUND 2

WHOO HOO!

I just got back home from a very chilly bike ride so I'm just pumping with endorphins and ready to write!

I moved into my new place this past Sunday with the help of my ENTIRE family (this includes BEN!). It didn't too long at all and was actually quite fun putting everything together and watching Mom do her thing. We had a nice dinner together, laughs and good artichoke dip! That night I went to the annual Pep Rally where every residence puts together a LARGE scale boogie (think 600 or so people). Since we weren't lucky enough to be first years again some of us ran onto the field and did the boogies with other residences! Rebel, I know.

Throughout the week I have just been hanging out with my Guelph family and enjoying every minute of it. From walks in forests to climbing child playgrounds to playing Halo, oh how I've missed this!

The bike ride to campus takes me about 15 minutes so not bad at all. Although coming back home is all down hill and way easier, it should be the other way around! Especially for my 8:30 classes!

Went to campus today to buy a textbook off of someone and ran into two friends from high school, Patrick and Mitchele! What a coincidence all three of us would be in the same place at the same time. It was great catching up (and pretending to be an older sister) haha. Guelph this year is even more amazing than the last. I bike through campus and see friends and get waves and hellos, it has never been so welcoming and happy. Even on a cold rainy day. Even the stranger I bought my textbook from couldn't say good luck any more times!

Awesome Poem

Stumbled upon this poem via my friend, Kathleen. It's awesome, and can totally see it hanging in my house somewhere, someday.

"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love – for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment is it perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you from misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world."

I Should Be...

Studying for my last exam of the summer! But I'm too full from my dinner and need some free internet time between work and studying right? Of course right.

After my exam tomorrow I'm going to get my keys to my house. How exciting! This will forever be known as my first ever house! What I have so far:

  • bed (using one from my own room)
  • bookcase (see above)
  • desk
  • clothes...
  • bed spread, sheets, pillows
  • towels
  • backpack
  • bicycle (dad found in shed, bonus!)
And what I still need:
  • desk chair
  • decorations for room
  • school supplies
  • chain for bike
  • NEW TOMS!
  • to pay money for rent....ugh

TOMS

So I saw these awesome shoes on my cousin's maid of honor during her wedding weekend of festivities and fell in love with them. Went home and just devoured myself into their website, collections of shoes and their movement. What are these shoes you ask? TOMS.

I read every inch of information on their website and just fell in love with the entire company. Their whole idea is One for One. Buy a pair of TOMS and a child in need will receive their own pair of shoes. Genius. I wanted to buy a pair so badly but I'm just never at a mall and there are scarce stores that sell them. Until yesterday. I found them! I bought a pair of red classics.

And when I got home I got even more obsessed. I learnt of all the amazing internships the company offers and the great environment they have invented! It's not just shoes, it's a lifestyle. Believe it or not.

My Real Injury

I've been playing soccer for a fairly long time now, about 6 years with the same club. And wrestling has help me become a pretty tough person. So sadly, I publicly find it annoying when players go down on the field, can't get back up and need to be taken off the field. I mean just get back up and ask for a sub, right?! Well then I majorily jinxed myself.

I was running across the field (assumingly trying to get that ball...) and I just rolled my ankle so hard. I went down right away. I have never cried so much from getting hurt ever in my life. After many stitches a few other sport related injuries, none had ever hurt this much.

I was literally carried off the field and one of my coaches waited for a few minutes before taking all my gear off. Once it was all off, we all saw my ankle. It was the size of a tennis ball. It was the most digusting thing I had seen that I had to cover my own eyes while my coach taped it. We headed to the hospital right after the game, it seemed to go by pretty fast but I was hopped up on adrenaline with my very first real injury!

I got X-rays pretty fast and didn't have to wait too long to go back and talk to a doctor. It was a 3 out of 4 level sprain. I was given an aircast AND crutches. What scared me the most is if I go back to soccer or running too soon I will need surgery. So I'm off for about 2-3 weeks and had the last 2 days of work off. Craziness!

I'm already sick of being stuck and sitting around the house. It takes forever to move around. Thanks to Daddy for being with me at the hospital yet again! And getting me food while I was stranded at home, yummmm.

Tumblr?!

I think I have found a solution to my lack of posting on this blog: Tumblr! It's a place that I can (hopefully) update everything all at once. Here you will be able to see blog postings, pictures, twitter updates, random thoughts, etc. One of the best things I quite enjoy about this is the fact that I am now able to post just small thoughts which will be good for all of us!

This will be awesome!

Remember?!

Remember when I said I was going to have so much more time to post nowadays?! WRONG. Camp life has begun and if I'm not at camp all day you can find me sleeping. My day honestly consists of having fun, playing games, disciplining and getting home around 5:45 pm and sleeping til 8 or 9 having a small dinner then hitting the bed again at 10. It's the life I tell ya.

Summer has been great so far...well as great as it can be. Home is much much different from being back at my new home in Guelph. But I have been dealing. My courses are going just swimmingly! I can not even believe how well! Note to self: online courses are fabulous!

Right now I feel like technology is consuming my life! I've got my blog, twitter, facebook, phone, etc. What do any of you think of having a Tumblr account? Thoughts?!

Life Changes...sort of?

Back to Guelph seems to be the census of my mind lately. I realized with the help of my dad that one of the main reasons I wanted to switch into nursing so desperately was to secure a job after four years of school. First year was pretty general, and I think that freaked me out a bit.

But that's just how school is sometimes (most of the time). But I love school! And I'm happy that at Guelph I get to take so many courses that interest me rather than nursing classes after nursing classes for four years, with no real options.

Options used to scare me, but now I'm starting to really like the idea of them.

Busy Again

I can't decide if that's a good thing! I wish I had more time to blog but at least I tweet so often now, that's a plus right?!

I've been working at UWO this week, fitting graduates for their gowns for convocations. My back is killing me, I woke up this morning feeling so old. My online classes have been going very well and I'm so glad for summer. It makes me like school again after having moments of hate in March-April.

Birthday week begins next week! Excited at times and forgetful the rest.

My Song

Not actually "my song" as we all know Deanna could not write awesome music like this.

The Internet is my new Friend

Oh hi there...I didn't see you there.

It's been awhile yet again and I have absolutely no excuses. I have now finished watching every episode of How I Met Your Mother and am on the verge of having Gossip Girl under my belt too.
Problem? First assignment of the summer due this Friday. And I WILL have it finished by tomorrow at let's say 7 p.m.

Summer is looking a lot better than what I thought it would be. Seeing friends from school has been such a blessing! I am always looking forward to the next get together. Soccer is going well, not too stressful yet still lots of fun. And I'm even looking forwards to camp this year. I can't wait to be tired at the end of the day.

New bands/artists that I have come to know and perhaps love:
Biagio Antonacci
Kid Cudi
The Black Atlantic
Beach House
Broken Bells
beat radio

StayFocused

Yesterday was my first day of school!...again. I'm taking two courses this summer; nutrition and physiology. It's actually interesting and somewhat enjoyable so far. The problem is that I have now blocked myself from using Facebook during certain hours....which has forced me to procrastinate in an alternate way. Yes, blogging.

There is not too much to say other than school is now my summer job until July. And when July hits, things will be getting crazy.

My current life dilemma is what school to go to next year...I won't get into it much but the premise is that I kinda, maybe, sorta....want to go back to Guelph.

Thanks for the procrastination time.

Decisions

Yiekes. Declining offers to university feels so scary. But right at the same time. I know I wouldn't have been happy there so that's what it really came down to.

Florida was great...pictures coming soon hopefully! We met a hilarious guy on the flight back. Apparently he was on the Young and Restless I do believe. But is no longer an actor. Top secret business though, something I PROBABLY shouldn't announce to the world on the internet. Now on to the next adventure: job search. This involves making a resume which will hopefully be done on Sunday.

Tomorrow I'm helping set up for a charity event here in London called Bethany's Hope Foundation. Then attended the gala event in the evening which should be great. Up by 6 a.m. and go go go until sleep at who knows what time.

Awkward Sunburns

With our arrival to the sunny state of Florida, the sun began to shine. Apparently until we got there it had been cold and a little rainy for awhile. It was totally the presence of the two of us that brought the awesome weather.

After a night of thunderstorms we awoke to a pretty much cloudless, sunny sky. And then here is where some of the first pains begin. I managed to burn myself in the most weird of ways of my red head life. I'm pretty sure there is a hand print on my stomach, a random patch only on my right arm, and blotch on my right leg.

Almost the best thing about being here is how nice everyone/everything is. For example, the ambulances are called "Sun Star Paramedics". I mean who wouldn't want to ride in a Sun Star ambulance on the brink of death....which almost everyone here is. It's just got a nice ring to it.

Diaspora

HOME
such a weird thought.

Moving out wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, thanks to the help of some really awesome (strong) friends! I'm so grateful to have met some really amazing people this year and have every intention to keep the good times going. All of my stuff is spread throughout the house and it takes opening approximately 3 boxes at a time to find a wanted item.

What's next for me? With the drama of school next year really in the center of things now, Western is being too rude to handle. I'm in the need of job before camp starts. But what's even better you ask? Florida on Sunday! A nice little getaway with my momma to relax and start yet another new chapter of life.

As for this exact moment....chips and salsa.

Pump Up Tunes?

Hans Zimmer has become my official study buddy artist of choice. Something about him just gets my mind in gear. Perhaps that may be ironic since I am currently listening to him right now and writing a post rather than studying about how fungi reproduce....yea this sounded like more fun.

Received my mark for a paper I finished half an hour before I ran and handed it in. Result? Quite pleased. Not amazing, but acceptable, very acceptable.

Sunshine in April

Such a pleasant day, I would say. Probably could have gotten some more studying done, but that's alright, right?

By peak afternoon time, my friends and I decided to hit the books...outside...in the blazing heat. It was so hot. Don't worry, I ran to my room to get my 60 SPF. And now I am currently feeling perfectly sun kissed, no tenderness just pure, nice warmth.

Next exam is Saturday evening, so I have a great, full day of studying a head of me for tomorrow. It's business time.

Library Resort

The University of Guelph Library is the equivalent to an all inclusive resort. To get a good spot on the "beach" other wise known has near these huge windows that overlook the campus, you must wake up and be at the library approximately around 8:00 a.m. Secondly, you stay at this resort all day long, sadly you don't get served but food, drink and bathroom are all available within the confines. And to top it off, it is so sunny out the three of us here today must read and take notes with sunglasses on. It's a sad life, I know, when a library is shockingly similar to a tropical paradise, especially during exams.

If only for a few more months!

I have fallen in love with a man named Dan Mangan this year. But the only way I can see him in Toronto on April 22 is if I am 19 years of age. Almost exactly 2 months too early. Please Dan, I'm a true fan!

Woke up today to a beautiful day! I studied in the library for a bit, it was so sunny my friend was wearing sunglasses. I then had lunch with my Momma at a neat vegan restaurant here, downtown. Came back to campus, visited a bit longer and went for a quick run. After that, a shower was needed and some reading. Sadly, I succumbed to a nap.

Looking back on the day, not much was accomplished. So I am going to bed as early as possible. Yes, 11:00 is early.

Studying has overtaken my soul

It's official, the study bug has arrived. My brain already hurts and it's only been one full day. 11 days to go. Although today was quite a fun studying day, my brain is going to sleep now. Maybe it will be able to take in a few doses of information in an hour or so.

Exam schedule for those interested (Mom and Dad):
Wednesday April 14 8:30 a.m. German
Saturday April 17 7:00 p.m. Anthropology
Monday April 19 7:00 p.m. Biology
Wednesday April 21 11:30 a.m. Italian

Busy Bee

As yesterday was my last day of class, I decided to drag my camera around and take a few shots around campus. But first, I woke up to a bathroom full of newspaper. Our shower was stuffed to the ceiling with crumpled papers. But to much surprise, I was not frustrated or upset. I was quite impressed, props to the strangers.

Then the rainy day began with class and Disorientation, which brought free food and coldness. More class, a needed nap and my last official class of university: Anthropology. Useless, but so are a lot of things.

This was followed with a quick dinner, selling table duties, trip to the mall for necessary items of an ABC party (dont worry it was not cliche). We dont like cliche. I wore a blue tablecloth with some shower loufas attached randomly. Pretty decent, the design was produced by three girls in my tower.

Now the last party of the year has been followed with a needed clean up and studying for finals. Everything is slowly drawing to a close but I still dont want to quite think about that yet. Too much time to still enjoy it here. Off to study, really!

Late Night

I know it is late, quite aware. But I blame it on the late fire alarm in combination with a late shower. Its so late I can barely remember what I did today. I really cannot, its far too late.

German Friends

Sitting in the science atrium at the moment, working on a HUGE German presentation for tomorrow with some German friends. We've been here for about two hours and have gone off topic at least 36 times. I'm so hungry that almost every German word somehow reminds me of food.

After this, straight to an IHC board meeting in East residence. It's going to be a long one indeed, constitutional amendment on the way.

But this week is looking great. Last week of class. It seems way too strange to be. I definitely haven't posted enough. I've missed filling you all in with tons of events this semester! That includes formal, midterm stress, crazy TAs, council madness, new places, trips to downtown, falling down on the icy campus, arguments, just too much. This is why all postings from now on will be in FULL detail. Including the fact that a member of my German group's name is Eric, and could be great friends with Eric Kirk, it's true. Although I don't think he's big on working out. The sense of humor is there though.

Resolved

And the problems have been fixed. Not too sure if I quite like my layout just yet, but I like tinkering around with it. So I didn't get to the run today, shoes located in residence, I swear by mistake. It's been a great Sufjan day today, only the best kind of day.

Progress of the day includes taking a shower, having a bowl of cereal, watching The Blindside with the parents, arguing with the parents, but just haven't quite gotten around to the homework.

Listen to this! To understand his brilliance. Sufjan Stevens' song of the day

Technical Difficulties

I've been playing around with my blog for a fair share of the day, but still haven't been able to figure out with there are no dates showing for my entries! If anyone as any idea, please let me know!

After showing my dad why gingers have no souls today (South Park episode), the one-liners about ugly gingers and the such have yet to end. He's become obsessed with it, and loves it. Little does he know that I'm used to this type of torture. It's been in the making since birth.

Didn't get to any work today, so we've got to make tomorrow count. Up early enough to get a run and shower in, get my German done and head out to a concert to wrap up Easter weekend! Probably the best way possible.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Buona Pasqua. Frohe Ostern. Happy Easter.

Sunny Times

ahhhhhh, so I definitely suck at keeping up with these and I really wish I had cause life has been crazy yet awesome! To make up for this rudeness I will TRY TRY TRY to post for the remainder of the semester, everyday!

How's this for an adventure....road trip with Celine! Yes, we're heading out on a hour trip to good old London. I've been looking forward to this day for a week now and it's finally here! I'm excited to be spending some time at home, relaxing, seeing my family together for the first time in months, enjoying the weather and hopefully getting a start on some studying.

One week of class left of my entire first year of university. It seems so strange.

New Start

I started a new semester this week and its a bit different from the last. The courses I am taking are ones I am hoping interest me and and make me enjoy life. German has got to be my favourite right now. No my TA is not the German version of Ben but his name IS Danko! We sing German techno songs during lectures with our prof. Waldemar but its very fast paced.
